About The Book
Across the Galaxy, a vast Empire of Colonized Planets existed for 100's of millenia. They created a race of super warriors by genetic manipulation. The result was a Vampire like creature who could shapeshift and was essentially immortal. The Empire needed this special breed to pilot their intra-Galactic Hyper-Drive Freighters, since humans were incapable of surviving the jump to Hyperspace.
Fear of their creations led the Empire to exile them to a backwater planet at the edge of the Empire and deny them entry to any Colony Planet. At first the Vampire race acquiesced but realizing their importance to their creators they rebelled and gained their autonomy without firing a shot.
The Vampire Trading Houses ranged far into the Galaxy, in search of precious resources to trade with the Empire. Eventually they came to earth, and thus begins our story........
